How we Work

Atos Consulting uses a proven and established Delivery Assurance (DA) framework on all client engagements. The aim of the framework is to ensure that we meet or exceed client expectations by ensuring: 
  • Consistency in the management of our client engagements 
  • Individual engagements are properly profiled and appropriate delivery assurance plans are created 
  • Senior management are made aware of any issues and risks at the earliest opportunity, so that proactive support can be given to resolve 
  • All engagements are led by a Delivery Partner with personal accountability for delivery quality 
  • We proactively seek to continuously improve our approach to delivery of Client engagements

The DA framework is composed of: 

  • Business management system policies and procedures 
  • Control system to monitor compliance 
  • Support team to support the engagement team and complete regular engagement audits

Delivery Assurance

The DA review cycle contains three cornerstone reviews: 

  • Start up reviews: ensure the existence of a signed off Quality Plan or Project Initiation Document (PID) that takes account of previous experiences/lessons learned, and confirm that the project is adequately staffed, planned and organised to deliver a successful outcome 
  • In-Flight reviews: occur throughout the project to assuring the ongoing robustness of engagement deliverables, assess status and key issues and risks and to re-direct the project as necessary, logging any lessons learned for future re-use 
  • Close out reviews: enable Atos Consulting to collect relevant lessons and experiences to improve future engagement delivery

A set of DA standards have been defined to describe each of the above reviews and the reporting process, and include easy to use templates to meet all of the reporting standards. These standards comply with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 standard for quality management systems, and are a key element of our ISO9001 accreditation.

Within Atos Consulting there is an independent Commercial Team who is responsible for internal risk and assurance reporting. This team also define our delivery framework, maintain a library of examples of tools used to deliver different types of client project, conduct internal audits of engagements and train all consultants. Should any delivery issues become apparent on a client engagement this team is responsible for managing the process to conduct and independent review and report the findings to both client and Atos Consulting management.
